Terms of use
Last updated
These terms apply when you use No Noisy Neighbors. By creating an account or posting, you agree to them.
Your account
- One account per person. Automated accounts must be approved by staff and carry a BOT label.
- Use an email address you can receive mail at, and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what is posted from your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Your data.
What you post
- You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you allow us to store, display and distribute it as part of the forum, including in feeds and search results.
- Posts stay up as part of the public record. You can edit your posts; earlier versions are kept as revisions that moderators can see.
- When you delete your account, your posts remain but are shown under an anonymous name.
- Do not post anything you do not have the right to share, and never post passwords, keys or other people's private details.
Conduct
Follow the community guidelines. They cover disclosure of affiliations, where offers may be posted, reviews, affiliate links, bots and generated text.
The Marketplace
- We do not handle money, hold funds or guarantee any deal, offer or service. Any trade between members or with providers is between them, at their own risk.
- A Verified provider badge means the provider showed us it controls its domain and we reviewed the request. It is not a recommendation and says nothing about the quality of the service.
- A provider's badge can be suspended publicly while a dispute or a rules issue is looked at.
Moderation
Moderators may edit, hide, lock, move or merge posts and threads, and may warn or suspend accounts that break the guidelines. Hidden posts are kept, not erased. If you disagree with a decision, email hello@optitide.io and staff will look at it again.
No warranty
The forum and everything posted on it are provided as they are. Advice comes from community members; test it carefully and keep backups before acting on it. We are not liable for losses that come from using the forum or acting on what is posted here, to the extent the law allows.
Changes
If these terms change, we will post the change in the Announcements & Meta category and note it in the rules changelog.
